These could be full-sized or sample-sized products, as well as lifestyle-based accessories for the modern women.

Birchbox also stock all of the brands that they ship to you in the boxes, so you can easily go back and purchase more of a particular product you liked. Not bad, but better options out there.

The process was easy and the box came on time every month. I like trying out makeup products more than I do beauty products i.e skin care and hair care products. This box was geared more towards beauty products and was not worth it for me.

Birchbox Newbie

I only subscribed at the end of last month but got two boxes together one for last month and one for this month.
I found both boxes really great. the boxes are sturdy and of good quality. the little bag on the inside was lovely too. i didn’t really know what to expect as i have never subscribed to anything like this before but I have been presently surprised. the products inside the boxes were impressive, the samples are small enough but are worth the money in my opinion. I got a full size make up brush in last months box and a full size eye lash primer this month as well as the smaller samples. Hopefully i will continue to be impressed and satisfied with the products, only time will tell but so far so good!

Not a great experience

Delivery was quick. I can only comment on one box which was ok. However, I did have only 5 items when I should have had 6. I tweeted and got a response quickly. I emailed Birchboxuk and got a reply a few days later. They did say they would send me another sample which was received a few days later. They sent me a hair mask which unfortunately I had already received a different hair mask in my box. It was my first and last box as I cancelled my subscription.

The jury is out...

I received my second box from Birchbox this week. Birchbox recently started shipping to Ireland and I was so excited to finally be able to subscribe to this hoever my first box was delayed by three weeks and to make up for this I was promised a full sized make up item to compensate for the delay. This was to arrive in my second box (March) which I received today but it wasnt it it. Instead I got three sample sized products and 3 full sized products. On the flip side of this negative experience all items I have received have been fantastic. Im not sure yet if I will continue to subscribe, this all depends on what the customer service team will respond with this time.

Best Subscription Point System

I’ve been subscribed to BIRCHBOX for a couple of years now, and it’s one of the best subscription boxes out there. Not just for the actual box itself, let’s be real- some of the samples aren’t super great sized, but- here’s what makes it amazing. For every 100 points you earn for reviewing your samples, you get $10 dollars off towards anything on the BIRCHBOX site. They have Benefit and Beauty Protector and lots of other amazing brands there to choose from. It’s the best point system out there.

Birchbox not only deliver 5 high quality beauty sample products per month directly to your door, but their customer service is the best I have come across to date.
The samples are good sized (often at least 1 full sized product per month) and they are excellent at choosing the brands to send too, as examples I’ve had benefit, caudalie, NUDE, and NUX samples. Tailor made to your profile, you will usually get one hair, 2 make up, 2 skincare products, or a perfume sample per month, and they occasionally throw in a sixth sample or product for free- I’ve had compact mirrors, hair de-tangles, hair bands, new snacks, or even the latest up and coming beauty trend. I love discovering new brands through Birchbox that I would have never even heard of otherwise, and have purchased gift subscriptions for friendship total of 3 times in the last 9 months too. The price for what you get is excellent and nothing beats the feeling of knowing every month you have a great excuse to treat and pamper yourself. I’ve been a member for 9 months now and haven’t had the same sample twice! Great for a wide range of ages, I highly recommend.

I’ve been a subscriber of birchbox for a little over a year now. Some months have been great & others not so great. I’m a make up addict so I get super excited when there is a make up product in my birchbox. This month December’ 15 I absolutely loved my birchbag! It didn’t come in the typical great themed box but an actual clutch bag full of some great miniature treats such as some benefit testers and a mini ciate nail polish. An extra bonus was the full size model co lipstick in the shade “kitty” great for all skin tones and right up my street as I’m obsessed with lip colours & my favourite is the rosey nude shade which it was. Some months aren’t so great and I dont feel you get the best selection but there is always at least one product that’s good. If you love trying new products then it’s definitely worth signing up to..x

Hit and miss

I subbed to Birchbox for quite a number of months, the boxes are well made and sturdy (and do come in handy for storing things in, I use mine for craft items) and the inner packaging is nice too, however the actual contents are really hit and miss. Some months will be full of amazing products which are new or just awesome and some months it is like they have packed some leftovers products into a box with no thought whatsoever. When the boxes are good they are well worth the money, on the off months I would’t pay half of what they cost. I unsubscribed in the end after one too many bad boxes.

To be completely honest I was not excited when I opened it. The products were way too small even as sample sizes but they were great quality samples. It came in October even though I ordered it in September. Hopefully next months will be betters.
