The website design is kind of shotty so some links do not work and there is no place to review products even though it has a page that says earn reword points by reviewing. The customer service is also kind of hit and miss and for February 2018 the box didn’t ship until march and they sent no email to say they were experiencing issues and the box they finally sent wasn’t a themed monthly box but a box from the deals section that is $5 cheaper than the subscription. They did refund me for the $5 after I asked to be refunded but it was very clear that you would be overcharged if you didn’t say anything. The products are usually high quality but meowbox comes with the same quality and amount of toys but without being trapped in a 12 month plan to get the cost down to $25 and at only $23. Meowbox also has an option to replace edible items for toys which is nice for cats with dietary restrictions. I switched to meowbox and that is my honest opinion, I don’t think I would ever want to be stuck in a plan with The Gift Box again no matter what the box is for.

We all like it!

I gave this a shot with a groupon for a $10 box. We liked the first one so we tried one more groupon box and decided on a subscription. They will usually offer you a deal to upgrade the service from that offer. I opted for $18.99/month for 12 months. The toys are pretty durable (though all toys die in our house), and the selection of items is worth the value. I especially like the treats, all of which are made in the USA and many with natural ingredients. My dogs are obsessed with the sweet potato fries from this months box (yes, they are holiday theme, too!). I was double charged once and had to contact customer service and they were prompt and courteous.

Try with a Groupon, and if you like it, upgrade and get a monthly subscription.
